Wednesday Welcome: Identity Prints

Each week I'm using Etsy's Pounce feature in order to discover new items "from undiscovered shops waiting for their first sale" as the Etsy site states. This week's welcome is extended to Identity Prints of New York. Looking for something unique? This is it, because your own actual fingerprints are used to make these custom paintings!

Here is the artist's description of how it is done:
"...our team sends you our IDENTITY PRINTS KIT, which includes an ink pad, our select card where you stamp your selected finger 5 times and a prepaid envelope.
You then choose the finger print you like, along with your 2 color choices, sign to approve and send back in the prepaid envelope supplied in the kit.
Once our staff receives your IDENTITY PRINTS KIT we send you a confirmation email along with a computer rendering of your finger print with the colors you selected. We then begin creating your artwork and in 1-2 weeks your custom "like no other" in the world artwork arrives at your doorstep ready to be hung."
Sounds pretty cool and as you can see, the finished products look great!
